AirGuard - Advantages of Heated Fog Fluid
The majority of disinfectants on the market are not heat resistant. When exposed to high temperatures, they either lose their antibacterial properties or produce toxic nitrogen oxides and chlorides, which is harmful to human health and the environment. Commonly used disinfectants such as hydrogen peroxide, quaternary ammonium, hypochlorous acid and sodium hypochlorite cannot be heated at all.

The advantage of using FLD and FLV liquids in fog-based disinfection is that heated fog molecules become very fine. They are easily dispersed in the air, effectively covering any surface it comes in contact with. Because of the small size of the molecules, they are safe even if inhaled.

Other disinfectant products are less effective. Wipe-based disinfectants are only effective on surfaces which are wiped. Typical spray disinfectants create heavy particles and are only effective for a short distance in the direction they are sprayed.
