Aaron from Stage and Audio based in Rockhampton recently performed a lighting upgrade at Winton Shire Hall.

The lighting rig was supplied as a front, middle and rear bar and the following Eventec products were used in the upgrade. 

Front Bar:

• 4 x Event Lighting ENFORCER7X60BE 7 x 60W RGBW LED zoom wash moving head with pixel control
• 3 x Event Lighting PS300LEWW 300W warm white profile spotlight engine with PSLII19 profile spot 19 degrees lens
• 4 x Event Lighting F300WWMZ 300W warm white fresnels

Middle Bar:

• 4 x Event Lighting ENFORCER7X60BE 7 x 60W RGBW LED zoom wash moving heads with pixel control
• 2 x Event Lighting M1H300W 300W LED hybrid moving head

Rear Bar:

• 4 x Event Lighting ENFORCER7X60BE 7 x 60W RGBW LED zoom wash moving head with pixel control
• 2 x Event Lighting M1H300W 300W LED hybrid moving head
• 2 x Event Lighting F300WWMZ 300W warm white fresnels

For control, the main console was a Chamsys QuickQ 30. Aaron then utilised the following items.

• 1 x Event Lighting SPLIT228RDM 2 inputs 8 outputs DMX / RDM Splitter
• 1 x Event Lighting DMXRT recorder/trigger
• 1 x Event Lighting DMXRTWALL 6 button wall panel for DMXRT
• 1 x Event Lighting WDMX5XLRTX 5-pin WDMX transmitter
• 1 x Event Lighting WDMX5XLRRXA 5-pin WDMX receiver

After the job was complete, Aaron went on to say that "The WDMX system is so versatile and cost-effective! The DMX recorder and wall plate trigger panel are incredible, every system should have one of these. It gives the user a simple way to use the system without having to pull the console out.
